The company was originally founded as William Parks Associates and was formed in February of 1970 when William R. Parks made the decision to resign from another representative group and start his own company. One of the Company’s founding principles would be to service the OEM accounts in the Northern California and Northern Nevada Electronics marketplace.
In November of 1972, it affiliated with another fledgling representative group and became Parks and Pruitt Associates. In January 1973, the Company incorporated under the laws of the State of California. It remained as such for 8 years until Mr. Bruce Pruitt elected to pursue other interests. In October of 1980, the Company’s name was changed back to William Parks Associates, Inc. In January, 1984, the Company was acquired by Ed Blake, who had been with the firm since July, 1972. In April 1992, the name of the Company was changed to Edward Blake Associates, Inc. to reflect the new directions that the Company was undertaking.

(IMAPS). We participate in those major trade shows that
our principals deem relevant to our current products and market.
